Tech Talk With Sherwood and Pagnucci
This podcast on teaching digital natives to write with blogging is not new. I’m cross-posting it here from the I-cast.org pages to test the function of the podcasting plugin for students

Before reading Hendron: RSS for educators, I actually thought that all podcasts had everything to do with Ipods and Apple. This thinking restrained the possibilities of podcasts in the contexts of education. I was drawn to the idea of podcasting as a mode to foster communication within a community. As stated earlier, in many classroom environments I feel it’s important to keep families involved.
The Hendron article was very informative and interesting to read. I am glad, however, that we talked about it during class because I did have some questions about it.
John answered my questions through his wife’s personal experience. She uses podcasts in her teaching and they are stored on a server. The idea that students and parents can review lessons is a great help when creating a community of learning, both in and out of the classroom.
I hope to use podcasts in my future teaching context. I think that they could enhance education in language learning and help ESL students practice and perfect their abilities to use and understand English.
